Reporting to the Shop Foreman the successful candidate must have a keen attention to detail, good communication skills, be a team player, conduct yourself in a professional manner while fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate must be able to lift 80lbs and perform repetitive tasks daily. Leadership skills, multi-tasking abilities and a desire to exceed customer & company expectations are also required. Being able to coordinate & execute workflow with persistence and determination is a must.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform all fabrication required as assigned by the Shop Foreman.
• Execute daily branch functions for production, warehouse, shipping and receiving as directed by the Shop Foreman.  This includes but is not limited to the following:
  MIG Welding, grinding, door/frame fabrication, loading/unloading transport, arranging deliveries, customer pickups, picking orders, putting away stock, cleaning etc.
• Perform the required fabrication by interpreting detailed shop drawings and templates as directed by the Shop Foreman.
• Order, purchase, and pickup shop supplies when required as directed by the Shop Foreman.
• Support and assist branch personnel and customers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Gain a strong working knowledge of the company’s entire product offering.
• Perform all safety checks and daily procedures required as directed by the Shop Foreman.
• Proactively identify areas and processes that can be improved to increase production safety and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have welding experience, a valid driver’s license & reliable automobile, be experienced with shop systems & processes, and be comfortable planning & completing projects as assigned daily.
