Job Description:

Based in Halifax, NS the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service for customers throughout the Halifax area at the IDN-Door Division (Halifax). Discover what it feels like to work with a great team within an amazing industry! 

Responsibilities include the following:

• Identify opportunities, create initiatives within the territory.
• Maintain and grow current customer base and sales volumes.
• Develop strong customer & vendor relationships.
• Strive for the highest level of customer service within the branch.
• Execute daily branch functions for sales, admin, and operations.
• Uphold company initiatives & policies internally.
• Support all branch personnel.

 Key Working Relationships:

Reporting to the Branch Manager the successful candidate must have a keen attention to detail, be customer-focused, have strong organizational skills, and possess an entrepreneurial attitude.  Leadership skills, multi-tasking abilities and a desire to exceed customer & company expectations are also required.  The successful applicant should be able to coordinate & execute sales strategies with persistence and determination.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license & reliable automobile, be experienced with computer systems & processes, and be comfortable planning & reporting on a monthly basis.  Experience in sales, hardware, over the counter contractor sales, doors/frames, and/or electronic access would be beneficial.
