IDN is a leading distributor of security hardware, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, and related security products.

Job Description:

Based in Montreal, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service to customers throughout the area.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Identify opportunities, create initiatives, and manage all sales activity within the territory.
• Maintain and grow current customer base and sales volumes.
• Develop strong customer & vendor relationships.
• Strive for the highest level of customer service within the branch.
• Communicate company initiatives & policies internally.
• Support, manage, and/or coach all branch personnel.
• Execute daily branch functions for sales, admin, and operations.

 Key Working Relationships:

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Branch Manager must have a keen attention to detail, be customer-focused, and possess an entrepreneurial attitude. Leadership skills, multi-tasking abilities and a desire to exceed customer & company expectations are also required. The successful applicant should be able to coordinate & execute sales strategies with persistence and determination.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license & reliable automobile, be experienced with computer systems & processes, be fluent in English and French both written and spoken and be comfortable planning & reporting on a monthly basis. The prospect should have 5+ years of related experience, (management, sales, hardware and/or electronic access). Educational requirements: A Business Administration Degree or Certificate is an asset.
