Ask the Experts | Ask the Key WizardQuestion:I have seen LSDA key blanks. I am wary of generic keys. What materials are they made out of? Answer:Great question!! Most LSDA branded keys are manufactured for us by one of the five largest key blank manufacturers in the world. Due to contractual stuff I won’t name them, but both of our companies believe in adhering to high standards in the manufacturing process. Our blanks are made of high quality brass or nickel silver depending on the blank. They are made to high tolerances which rival the manufacturers of original equipment locks, cylinders and keys. The keys that come with our LSDA branded locks, while not manufactured by our key blank partner, are also made of high quality brass and again are made to the high tolerances that we demand. You can trust that our keys match or exceed the strength and integrity of our competitors while offering a selection of keys at very affordable prices.  Do you have a question, or need a quote?
